E.F..T (emotional freedom technique) has been used since the 1980's It’s the practice of combining ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology
It’s called tapping because we are tapping on end points of meridians ( while saying certain statements.) It can look funny., but it’s incredible powerful.
Tapping helps with anxiety, depression, pain relief, letting go money issues, weight loss, stress, and limiting beliefs.
Research has shown that by tapping on these points while focusing on the issue we are sending a calming signal to the amygdala part of the brain. This is the part of the brain that responsible for the flight or fight part of the brain. So, what we are doing is desensitizing ourselves to the issue. We are releasing and rewiring the brain around the issue or emotion around the specific topic. In turn we are turning it down or completely off in some cases.
